Dr. Xiao Mei Zhao is an accredited practitioner, researcher, and professor. She graduated from the School of Medicine in Inner Mongolia in 1983. She then stayed at her medical school and taught internal medicine for five years.

In 1988, Dr. Zhao went back to Chinese Medicine school in Tianjin, China. There she received her PhD degree in Combination of Western Medicine (WM) and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), with a specialization in infertility treatments.

After graduation, Dr. Zhao was invited to the National Institute of Health and Research in Beijing to work as a researcher. From 1991-2000 Dr. Zhao practiced and treated infectious disease associated with HIV/AIDS in the Academy of TCM in Beijing, China. While working at the academy, Dr. Zhao, as a medical professor, traveled to Africa, Myanmar, Germany, and Holland to treat HIV/AIDS patients.

 For over thirty years, Dr. Zhao was involved in numerous treatments and projects domestically and internationally. She is well known for her lectures given in world HIV/AIDS conferences. She has published nearly 50 articles in medical journals and newspapers, and she is the author of seven books. The National Chinese Medicine Bureau recognized Dr. Zhao by awarding her three projects with distinguished prizes.

 Dr. Zhao has been certified by NCCAOM and licensed in the State of Tennessee for acupuncture since 2000. Her main areas of treatment include pain relief, infertility, menopause, anti-aging, stress relief, anti-depression, weight loss, and dietetic therapy. She is especially praised by her patients for her success in infertility.
